SENATE AMENDMENT 21, TO 1997 ASSEMBLY BILL 768

AB768-SA21,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by assembly substitute amendment 1, as follows:

AB768-SA21,1,3 1. Page 553, line 4: reduce the dollar amount by $291,600.

AB768-SA21,1,4 2. Page 553, line 5: substitute "9.0" for "17.0".

AB768-SA21,1,5 3. Page 553, line 6: after that line insert:

AB768-SA21,1,11 "(5e) Wildlife biologists. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of natural resources under section 20.370 (1) (ma) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 1997, the dollar amount is increased by $85,000 for fiscal year 1998-99 to increase the authorized FTE positions for the department of natural resources by 4.0 GPR wildlife biologist positions on January 1, 1999.

AB768-SA21,2,3 (5f) Fish biologists. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of natural resources under section 20.370 (4) (ma) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 1997, the dollar amount is increased by $84,900 for fiscal year 1998-99 to increase the authorized FTE positions for the department by 4.0 fish biologists on January 1, 1999.".
