AB768-SA31,1,3 31. Page 519, line 16: after that line insert:
AB768-SA31,1,4 4"(1zo) Audit of Medical College of Wisconsin.
AB768-SA31,1,8 5(a) The joint legislative audit committee is requested to direct the legislative
6audit bureau to perform a financial and performance evaluation audit of the Medical
7College of Wisconsin, Inc. The audit shall include information about all of the
8following:
AB768-SA31,1,10 91. The cost of services provided by the medical college relative to the cost of
10similar services provided by other health care providers in the region.
AB768-SA31,1,12 112. The billing practices of the medical college, including those practices
12affecting the allocation of public funds.
AB768-SA31,2,2
13. Recruitment and retention policies and programs of the medical college with
2respect to minority students and faculty, and to female students and faculty.
AB768-SA31,2,3 34. The accumulation of any public moneys in the medical college reserve fund.
AB768-SA31,2,4 45. A cost-benefit analysis of services provided by the medical college.
AB768-SA31,2,6 56. The contractual relationship between the medical college and Froedtert
6Hospital in Milwaukee County.
AB768-SA31,2,9 7(b) If the committee directs the legislative audit bureau to perform the audit
8under paragraph (a), the bureau shall file its report as described under section 13.94
9(1) (b) of the statutes by April 1, 1999.".
