AB786-ASA1-AA1,1,2 21. Page 1, line 4: after "traffic" insert ", granting rule-making authority".

AB786-ASA1-AA1,1,4 32. Page 1, line 9: after "sign" insert ", where the signs are placed according to
4rules of the department,".

AB786-ASA1-AA1,1,5 53. Page 3, line 11: after that line insert:

AB786-ASA1-AA1,1,6 6" Section 8m. Nonstatutory provisions.

AB786-ASA1-AA1,2,2 7(1) Department rule making. Not later than the first day of the 5th month
8beginning after publication, the department of transportation shall submit to the
9legislative council staff under section 227.15 (1) of the statutes rules in proposed form
10that specify the locations for placement of signs indicating the beginning and ending

1of a utility work area for purposes of section 340.01 (73m) of the statutes, as created
2by this act.".
