ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 13, To 1997 ASSEMBLY RESOLUTION 2

AR2-AA13,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the resolution as follows:

AR2-AA13,1,2 1. Page 4, line 13: delete lines 13 and 14 and substitute:

AR2-AA13,1,6 "Assembly Rule 26 (6) (a) Except as provided in par. (b), no person may possess or use a wireless communication device in the assembly chamber, other than in the parlor, lobbies, offices of the speaker, majority leader and minority leader and hallways.

AR2-AA13,1,7 (b) Paragraph (a) does not apply to:

AR2-AA13,1,8 1. A member of the capitol police or a law enforcement officer.

AR2-AA13,1,9 2. The assembly sergeant at arms or a person acting at his or her direction.

AR2-AA13,1,11 3. A person authorized by motion of the speaker adopted by majority vote of the members present and voting.".
