ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO 1997 SENATE BILL 23

SB23-AA2,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by senate substitute amendment 1, as follows:

SB23-AA2,1,4 1. Page 1, line 6: delete "D.A.R.E. Wisconsin, Ltd.," and substitute "fund drug abuse resistance education, payments to the".

SB23-AA2,1,6 2. Page 2, line 8: delete " D.A.R.E. Wisconsin, Ltd.," and substitute "Drug abuse resistance education".

SB23-AA2,1,8 3. Page 2, line 9: delete "D.A.R.E. Wisconsin, Ltd.," and substitute "fund drug abuse resistance education".

SB23-AA2,1,9 4. Page 2, line 10: delete "(a)".

SB23-AA2,1,11 5. Page 2, line 19: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 3, line 12, and substitute:

SB23-AA2,1,12 " Section 6m. 165.86 (3) of the statutes is created to read:

SB23-AA2,2,5 165.86 (3) Make payments from the appropriation under s. 20.455 (2) (jp) to fund programs and activities relating to drug abuse resistance education, including law enforcement training to implement drug abuse resistance education programs in this state and programs and activities sponsored by local school boards and local police departments.".
