SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 1997 SENATE BILL 268

SB268-SSA1-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB268-SSA1-SA1,1,5 1. Page 3, line 2: delete the material beginning with "may" and ending with the period on line 3 and substitute "shall adopt a resolution specifying how the funds will be used. The school board may use the funds only for a capital expenditure that is for one or more of the following purposes:

SB268-SSA1-SA1,1,6 1. Building maintenance.

SB268-SSA1-SA1,1,7 2. Protection of the public health or safety.

SB268-SSA1-SA1,1,8 3. To comply with 42 USC 12101 to 12213.

SB268-SSA1-SA1,1,9 4. Educational technology.".
