SENATE AMENDMENT 6, TO 1997 SENATE BILL 313

SB313-SA6,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB313-SA6,1,2 1. Page 5, line 10: delete "the juvenile" and substitute "any of the following:

SB313-SA6,1,3 (a) The juvenile".

SB313-SA6,1,4 2. Page 5, line 12: after that line insert:

SB313-SA6,2,2 "(b) Suspension of the juvenile's operating privilege, as defined in s. 340.01 (40), for not less than 6 months nor more than one year. The court shall immediately take possession of the suspended license and forward it to the department of transportation together with a notice stating the reason for and the duration of the suspension. If the juvenile's operating privilege is currently suspended or revoked or if the juvenile does not currently possess a valid operating privilege under ch. 343, the suspension under this paragraph is effective on the date on which the juvenile applies and qualifies for issuance or reinstatement of his or her operating privilege under ch. 343.".
