ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 3, TO 1997 SENATE BILL 329

SB329-AA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB329-AA3,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

SB329-AA3,1,4 " Section 1e. 40.05 (2) (ar) of the statutes is renumbered 40.05 (2) (ar) 1. and amended to read:

SB329-AA3,1,8 40.05 (2) (ar) 1. Participating Except as provided in subd. 2., participating employers of employes subject to s. 40.65 shall contribute an additional percentage or percentages of those employes' earnings based on the experience rates determined to be appropriate by the board with the advice of the actuary.

SB329-AA3, s. 1m Section 1m. 40.05 (2) (ar) 2. of the statutes is created to read:

SB329-AA3,2,2 40.05 (2) (ar) 2. The state shall pay for all participating employers the cost necessary to fund any increase in a participating employer's contributions under subd. 1. that results from providing any protective occupation participant the presumption under s. 891.455. This amount shall be added to the state's contributions required under par. (a).".
