AB133-SSA1-SA10,1,2 1. Page 1431, line 11: after that line insert:

AB133-SSA1-SA10,1,3 " Section 3114m. 895.78 of the statutes is created to read:

AB133-SSA1-SA10,1,7 895.78 Limiting felon's right to damages. (1) A person whose real or personal property is damaged in the course of the person committing an act that constituted a felony for which he or she was convicted may not recover for that damage.

AB133-SSA1-SA10,1,10 (2) A person who is killed or injured in the course of the person committing an act that constituted a felony for which he or she was convicted may not recover for that death or injury.".

AB133-SSA1-SA10,1,11 2. Page 1603, line 24: after that line insert:

AB133-SSA1-SA10,2,3 "(3e) Limit on felon's right to damages. The treatment of section 895.78 of the statutes first applies to a death or injury that occurs on the effective date of this subsection.".
