AB201-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB201-AA1,1,2 21. Page 2, line 1: delete that line and substitute:
AB201-AA1,1,3 3" Section 1g. 971.20 (1) to (6) of the statutes are repealed.
AB201-AA1, s. 1m 4Section 1m. 971.20 (7) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB201-AA1,2,25 971.20 (7) Substitution of judge following appeal. If The defendant has the
6right of substitution of a judge if
an appellate court orders a new trial or sentencing
7proceeding, a. The defendant has the right to only one substitution of a judge under
8this section. The right of substitution shall be exercised as provided in this section.
9If the case involves more than one defendant, the request for substitution shall be
10made jointly by all defendants. If the appellate court has ordered severance of
11defendants, the defendant or defendants in each action may request a substitution
12under this section. A
