AB22-ASA1,1,2 1An Act to create 19.36 (10) of the statutes; relating to: access to public records
2containing social security account numbers of individuals.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

AB22-ASA1, s. 1 3Section 1. 19.36 (10) of the statutes is created to read:

AB22-ASA1,1,94 19.36 (10) Social security account numbers. If a record or portion of a record
5contains the social security account number of any individual together with
6information revealing the identity of that individual, an authority shall delete the
7social security account number before permitting access to the record under s. 19.35
8(1), unless the requester is specifically authorized to have access to the social security
9account number by federal or state law.
