SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 1999 ASSEMBLY BILL 305

AB305-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB305-SA1,1,7 1. Page 13, line 1: delete the material beginning with "Party" and ending with "citizens." on page 13, line 4, and substitute "A party state shall, in accordance with the state's due process laws, limit or revoke the multistate licensure privilege of any nurse to practice in the state if the nurse fails to comply with the state practice laws of the state and shall take any other actions under its applicable state laws necessary to protect the health and safety of its citizens.".

AB305-SA1,1,9 2. Page 13, line 8: after "must" insert "register with that state under sub. (6) (e) and".

AB305-SA1,1,10 3. Page 16, line 24: after that line insert:

AB305-SA1,1,12 "(e) Require a nurse to register with the licensing board before the nurse may practice in the party state.".
