SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 1999 ASSEMBLY BILL 45

AB45-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB45-SA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 4: after "schools" insert "and information regarding threats to damage school premises or harm persons on school grounds".

AB45-SA1,1,4 2. Page 2, line 2: delete that line and substitute:

AB45-SA1,1,6 "165.72 (title) Controlled Hotline for reporting dangerous weapons or threats to persons or property in public schools;".

AB45-SA1,1,10 3. Page 2, line 13: delete "public schools." and substitute "a public school, information regarding any threat to damage property belonging to a public school or located on the premises of a public school or information regarding any threat to harm an individual who is on the premises of a public school.".

AB45-SA1,1,12 4. Page 2, line 13: after that line, on page 1, line 4, of the material inserted by assembly amendment 2, after "weapons" insert "or threats to property or persons".

AB45-SA1,2,3 5. Page 2, line 13: after that line, on page 1, line 11, of the material inserted by assembly amendment 2, after "school" insert "or a threat to damage property or harm an individual at a public school or on the premises of a public school".

AB45-SA1,2,4 6. Page 2, line 15: after " weapons" insert "or threats to property or persons".

AB45-SA1,2,10 7. Page 2, line 17: delete that line, as affected by assembly amendment 1, and substitute "weapons in a public school or a threat to damage property or harm an individual at a public school or on the premises of a public school, or immediately at the beginning of the next retail business day if the information is not received during normal retail business hours, the department of justice shall provide the information".
