3"(g) Study why there is a disparity in the proportion of prison inmates who are
4members of racial minorities compared to the proportion of racial minorities in the
5state's population as a whole and submit annual reports discussing its findings and
6making recommendations concerning how to ameliorate the disparity. No later than
7January 1, 2001, the commission shall submit an initial report under this paragraph
8to the governor, to each house of the legislature under s. 13.172 (2) and to the supreme
9court. The commission shall submit additional reports on January 1 of each year
10thereafter that discuss any additional findings and recommendations of the
11commission and that discuss the impact, if any, of recommendations made by the
12commission under this paragraph that have been implemented.".
