AB51-ASA1-AA10,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:
AB51-ASA1-AA10,1,3 21. Page 6, line 18: after "Each authority" insert "which is authorized to collect
3information under sub. (2m)".
AB51-ASA1-AA10,1,4 42. Page 6, line 23: after that line insert:
AB51-ASA1-AA10,1,7 5"(2m) (a) No authority may require the submission of information relating to
6year 2000 processing under sub. (2) without authorization from the secretary of
7administration.
AB51-ASA1-AA10,1,108 (b) The secretary of administration may authorize an authority to collect
9information relating to year 2000 processing upon making a finding that it is
10necessary to protect public health and safety.
AB51-ASA1-AA10,2,411 (c) Each authority seeking authorization from the secretary of administration
12shall submit a written request to the department of administration specifying any

1entities from whom information is sought and showing how the collection of
2information relating to year 2000 processing by that authority is necessary to the
3exercise of the authority's regulatory power relating to protecting public health or
4safety.
AB51-ASA1-AA10,2,65 (d) The secretary of administration shall approve or disapprove each request
6submitted under par. (c) within 10 days of submittal of the request.".
