AB51-ASA1-AA7,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:
AB51-ASA1-AA7,1,2 21. Page 6, line 18: delete lines 18 to 23 and substitute:
AB51-ASA1-AA7,1,9 3"(2) In the event that an authority has reason to believe that a computer system
4that is operated by any person over whom the authority has primary regulatory
5power may fail to perform any action related to the date change necessitated by the
6year 2000 or in the event of a computer system operated by such a person fails to
7perform any act related to the date change necessitated by the year 2000 and that
8computer system is a component of the activity that is regulated by that authority,
9the authority may require the person to respond in writing to the following questions:
AB51-ASA1-AA7,1,1010 (a) "What pieces of computerized equipment do you have?"
AB51-ASA1-AA7,2,411 (b) "Have you had all the pieces of that equipment associated with the activity
12regulated by [name of authority] which contain any microprocessor chip with a date

1and time mechanism checked by the manufacturer or another qualified professional
2expert to determine whether the equipment functions properly after December 31,
31999? If not, please advise as to the date on which checking of all such equipment
4will be completed.".".
