ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 1999 ASSEMBLY BILL 531

AB531-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB531-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 1: delete "a county" and substitute "certain counties".

AB531-AA1,1,3 2. Page 2, line 1: delete lines 1 to 11 and substitute:

AB531-AA1,1,4 " Section 1m. 59.52 (16) (am) of the statutes is created to read:

AB531-AA1,1,12 59.52 (16) (am) Certain unimproved county lands. Notwithstanding par. (a), if the county has a population of at least 300,000 and was created in 1836, appropriate each year, to a municipality or school district in which unimproved county-owned lands that are used for parks or conservation purposes are located, an amount of money equal to the amount incurred by the municipality or school district in providing services to such lands, up to the amount of money which would have been paid in municipal or school tax upon such lands without buildings, if those lands had been privately owned.".
