(5) The board shall not place the name of a candidate on the ballot at the
5general election or a special partisan election if the candidate is subject to a filing
6requirement under s. 11.20 (2w) and a report is not filed in a timely manner by the
7candidate or his or her personal campaign committee as required under s. 11.20 (2w).
8If ballots are required to be prepared before the board is required to act under this
9subsection, the board shall remove the candidate's name from the ballot if possible.".

(2) Preprimary and preelection reports under s. 11.06 (1) shall be
13received by the appropriate filing officer no earlier than 14 days and no later than
18 days preceding the primary and the election.
A candidate or personal campaign

3required to file a preelection report under this subsection.

(2w) Election reports under s. 11.12 shall be received by the board no
6later than the Monday following each September primary and each special partisan
7primary and no later than each Monday thereafter, through the Monday following
8the date of the general or special partisan election, from each candidate or personal
9campaign committee of a candidate for state office, except the office of district
10attorney, who received at least 6% of the vote cast for all candidates for the same office
11at the September primary or the special partisan primary, if a primary was held, but
12who did not accept a grant under s. 11.50. The reports may be filed no earlier than
13the Monday on which they are due.
