AB735-ASA1,1,1 An Act to create 78.018 of the statutes; relating to: reducing the gas tax rate.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

AB735-ASA1, s. 1 Section 1. 78.018 of the statutes is created to read:

AB735-ASA1,1,4 78.018 Adjustment in the year 2000. On July 1, 2000, the rate of the tax imposed under s. 78.01 (1) is decreased by 3 cents.

AB735-ASA1, s. 2 Section 2. Appropriation changes.

AB735-ASA1,1,7 (1) General fund transfer. On July 1, 2000, there is transferred from the general fund to the transportation fund $93,000,000.
