AB79-AA11,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB79-AA11,1,2 21. Page 4, line 11: delete lines 11 to 15 and substitute:
AB79-AA11,1,4 3" Section 7L. 939.645 (2) (b) of the statutes is renumbered 939.645 (2) (b)
4(intro.) and amended to read:
AB79-AA11,1,75 939.645 (2) (b) (intro.) If the crime committed under sub. (1) or (1m) is
6ordinarily a Class A misdemeanor, the penalty increase under this section changes
7the status of the crime to a felony and the

AB79-AA11,1,11 81. For a Class A misdemeanor committed under sub. (1), the revised maximum
9fine is $10,000 and the revised maximum period of imprisonment is 2 years. The
10penalty increase under this subdivision changes the status of the crime from a
11misdemeanor to a felony.
AB79-AA11, s. 7m 12Section 7m. 939.645 (2) (b) 2. of the statutes is created to read:
AB79-AA11,2,4
1939.645 (2) (b) 2. For a Class A misdemeanor committed under sub. (1m), the
2revised maximum fine is $10,000 and the revised maximum period of imprisonment
3is 2 years. The penalty increase under this subdivision does not change the status
4of the crime from a misdemeanor to a felony.".
