SB144-AA10,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the engrossed bill as follows:
SB144-AA10,1,3 21. Page 2, line 7: after "(3)," insert "between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday
3to Friday,".
SB144-AA10,1,6 42. Page 2, line 8: after "capitol." insert "Paragraph (a) and sub. (3) apply to the
5state capitol building at all times during which smoking is not prohibited under this
6paragraph.".
SB144-AA10,1,8 73. Page 2, line 9: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with
8page 3, line 4, and substitute:
SB144-AA10,1,9 9" Section 3g. 101.123 (4) (a) 1. of the statutes is amended to read:
SB144-AA10,1,1310 101.123 (4) (a) 1. Except as provided in subd. subds. 2. and 2m., a person in
11charge or his or her agent may designate smoking areas in the places where smoking
12is regulated under sub. (2) (a) unless a fire marshal, law, ordinance or resolution
13prohibits smoking.

1Section 3r. 101.123 (4) (a) 2m. of the statutes is created to read:
SB144-AA10,2,42 101.123 (4) (a) 2m. Any smoking areas that are designated in the state capitol
3building may not permit smoking at a time when smoking in those areas is prohibited
4under sub. (2) (ar).".
