SB277-SA7,1,2 1. Page 15, line 21: after that line insert:

SB277-SA7,1,8 "(2m) Supplemental appropriations. For the 1999-2000 and 2000-01 fiscal years, the department of corrections may request the joint committee of finance to supplement the department's budget under section 20.410 (1) (a) of the statutes for the purpose of staffing any private correctional facility leased under subsection (2). Notwithstanding section 13.101 (3) (a) of the statutes, the joint committee on finance may approve any such request.".
