SB442-SSA1-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:
SB442-SSA1-SA1,1,2 21. Page 8, line 6: after that line insert:
SB442-SSA1-SA1,1,3 3" Section 17g. 66.05 (9) (a) 1m. of the statutes is amended to read:
SB442-SSA1-SA1,1,84 66.05 (9) (a) 1m. "Historic Except as provided in par. (e), "historic building"
5means any building or object listed on, or any building or object within and
6contributing to a historic district listed on, the national register of historic places in
7Wisconsin, the state register of historic places or a list of historic places maintained
8by a municipality.
SB442-SSA1-SA1, s. 17r 9Section 17r. 66.05 (9) (e) of the statutes is created to read:
SB442-SSA1-SA1,1,1210 66.05 (9) (e) 1. In this paragraph, in addition to the meaning given under par.
11(a) 1m., "historic building" means a building that is eligible for listing on the national
12register of historic places in Wisconsin or the state register of historic places.

12. If a historic building is acquired or proposed to be acquired by a local cultural
2arts district created under subch. V of ch. 229, the historic building may not be razed
3and removed unless the local cultural arts district determines that there is no
4reasonable alternative to demolition of the historic building.".
