SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 1999 SENATE BILL 454

SB454-SSA1,1,3 An Act to renumber 196.202 (5); and to create 196.202 (5) (b) of the statutes; relating to: requiring itemization of calls charged by commercial mobile radio service providers.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

SB454-SSA1, s. 1 Section 1. 196.202 (5) of the statutes is renumbered 196.202 (5) (a).

SB454-SSA1, s. 2 Section 2. 196.202 (5) (b) of the statutes is created to read:

SB454-SSA1,1,9 196.202 (5) (b) The periodic billing statement that a commercial mobile radio service provider provides to a customer shall include an itemization of each call billed to the customer. A commercial mobile radio service provider may not impose an additional charge on a customer for itemizing calls under this paragraph.

SB454-SSA1, s. 3 Section 3. Effective date.

SB454-SSA1,2,2 (1) This act takes effect on the first day of the 6th month beginning after publication.
