ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 1999 SENATE BILL 481

SB481-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB481-AA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 6: after the semicolon insert "charges required to be included on electric utility and retail electric cooperative bills;".

SB481-AA1,1,4 2. Page 3, line 1: before that line insert:

SB481-AA1,1,6 " Section 1d. 16.957 (4) (am) of the statutes, as created by 1999 Wisconsin Act 9, is repealed.

SB481-AA1, s. 1h Section 1h. 16.957 (6) of the statutes is created to read:

SB481-AA1,1,10 16.957 (6) Electric bills. An electric utility or retail electric cooperative shall include on a customer's or member's bill the charge required under the rules promulgated by the commission under s. 196.025 (6).

SB481-AA1, s. 1p Section 1p. 196.025 (6) of the statutes is created to read:

SB481-AA1,2,3 196.025 (6) The commission shall promulgate rules establishing requirements for an electric utility, as defined in s. 16.957 (1) (g), or a retail electric cooperative, as defined in s. 16.957 (1) (t), to include as a separate charge on a customer's or member's bill the cost to the customer or member of the programs established under s. 16.957 (2) (a) and (b) 1.".
