AB1-ASA1-AA1-AA17,1,5 43. Page 293, line 19: delete the material beginning with that line and ending
5with page 295, line 10.
AB1-ASA1-AA1-AA17,1,6 64. Page 321, line 19: after that line insert:

8employees.
AB1-ASA1-AA1-AA17,2,29 (a) In this subsection, "nonrepresented state employee" means a state
10employee in the classified or unclassified service of the state whose position is not

1included in a collective bargaining unit for which a representative is recognized or
2certified under subchapter V of chapter 111 of the statutes.
AB1-ASA1-AA1-AA17,2,103 (b) Notwithstanding sections 20.923, 230.10, and 230.12 of the statutes and
4any action of the joint committee on employment relations relating to salary
5adjustments for any state officer or nonrepresented state employee, no state officer
6or nonrepresented state employee may receive an increase in salary over the rate
7paid to the officer or employee on the effective date of this paragraph for any period
8before January 1, 2004, unless the state officer or nonrepresented state employee is
9promoted or appointed to a position different from the position that the officer or
10employee held on the effective date of this paragraph.
AB1-ASA1-AA1-AA17,2,1611 (c) Notwithstanding sections 20.923, 230.10, and 230.12 of the statutes and any
12action of the joint committee on employment relations relating to salary adjustments
13for any state officer or nonrepresented state employee, no person appointed to a state
14officer position or to a nonrepresented state employee position on or after the
15effective date of this paragraph, but before January 1, 2004, may receive a salary that
16is at a rate greater than the rate paid to his or her predecessor in that position.".
