AB1-ASA1-AA48,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB1-ASA1-AA48,1,2 1. Page 368, line 8: after that line insert:

AB1-ASA1-AA48,1,4 "(4d) Annual salaries for the governor, state senators, and representatives to the assembly during the 2003-04 legislature.

AB1-ASA1-AA48,1,9 (a) Notwithstanding section 20.923 (2) (c) of the statutes and any action of the secretary of employment relations and the joint committee on employment relations relating to establishing the annual salary of the governor during the 2001-03 fiscal biennium, during the 2003-04 legislature, the annual salary of the governor shall be $122,406.

AB1-ASA1-AA48,2,3 (b) Notwithstanding section 20.923 (2) (b) of the statutes and any action of the secretary of employment relations and the joint committee on employment relations relating to establishing the annual salary of each state senator and each representative to the assembly during the 2001-03 fiscal biennium, during the 2003-04 legislature, the annual salary of each state senator and each representative to the assembly shall be $44,233.".
