3funds for the purpose of managing, or conducting testing for, chronic wasting disease,
4in an amount exceeding $3,000,000, the department shall submit a plan to the joint
5committee on finance specifying the manner in which the department proposes to
6expend the funds. If the cochairpersons of the committee do not notify the
7department within 14 working days after the date of the department's submittal that
8the committee has scheduled a meeting for the purpose of reviewing the plan, the
9plan may be implemented as proposed by the department. If, within 14 working days
10after the date of the department's submittal, the cochairpersons of the committee
11notify the department that the committee has scheduled a meeting for the purpose
1of reviewing the proposed plan, the plan may be implemented only upon approval of
2the committee.".
