3funds for the purpose of managing, or conducting testing for, chronic wasting disease,
4the department shall submit a plan to the joint committee on finance specifying the
5manner in which the department proposes to expend the funds. If the cochairpersons
6of the committee do not notify the department that the committee has scheduled a
7meeting for the purpose of reviewing the plan, the plan may be implemented as
8proposed by the department. If, within 14 working days after the date of the
9department's submittal, the cochairpersons of the committee notify the department
10that the committee has scheduled a meeting for the purpose of reviewing the
11proposed plan, the plan may be implemented only upon approval of the committee.".
