ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2001 ASSEMBLY BILL 15

AB15-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB15-AA1,1,3 1. Page 2, line 3: delete the material beginning with "to the retailer" and ending with "sale" on line 4 and substitute " by the buyer of the item".

AB15-AA1,1,5 2. Page 2, line 7: delete " to the retailer of the item at the time of sale" and substitute "by the buyer of the item".

AB15-AA1,1,6 3. Page 2, line 8: after that line insert:

AB15-AA1,1,7 " Section 2m. Initial applicability.

AB15-AA1,1,9 (1) Manufacturers' rebates. This act first applies to sales on the effective date of this subsection.".

AB15-AA1,1,11 4. Page 2, line 10: delete "July 1, 2001" and substitute "on the 7th day beginning after publication.".
