ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO 2001 ASSEMBLY BILL 2

AB2-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB2-AA2,1,2 1. Page 3, line 20: after "(2)" insert "(a)".

AB2-AA2,1,3 2. Page 3, line 24: after "year." insert:

AB2-AA2,1,4 "(b)".

AB2-AA2,1,5 3. Page 4, line 2: delete "once" and substitute "twice".

AB2-AA2,1,12 4. Page 4, line 3: after "period." insert "If a question submitted by a local governmental unit relating to substantially similar subject matter or relating to authorization for the borrowing of money is submitted on dates authorized under par. (a) and rejected twice in a 12-month period, no referendum relating to substantially similar subject matter or relating to the borrowing of money may be held by that local governmental unit during the 11-month period following the date of the referendum at which the 2nd rejection occurred.".

AB2-AA2,2,2 5. Page 4, line 5: delete the material beginning with "concurrent" and ending with "year," on line 7 and substitute "authorized under sub. (2),".
