AB344-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB344-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 2: after "rate" insert "and mass transit operating aids".

AB344-AA1,1,3 2. Page 2, line 6: after that line insert:

AB344-AA1,1,4 " Section 3m. Appropriation changes.

AB344-AA1,1,10 (1) Tier A-1 transit operating aids. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of transportation under section 20.395 (1) (ht) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2001, the dollar amount is decreased by $34,300,000 for fiscal year 2001-02 and the dollar amount is decreased by $56,000,000 for fiscal year 2002-03 to decrease funding for the purpose for which the appropriation is made.".

AB344-AA1,1,13 " Section 4m. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the day after publication, except as follows:

AB344-AA1,2,2 (1) Tier A-1 transit operating aids. Section 3m (1) of this act takes effect on the day after publication of the 2001-03 biennial budget act.".
