ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO 2001 ASSEMBLY BILL 453

AB453-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB453-AA2,1,3 1. Page 1, line 3: after "warranty" insert "and the sales tax and the use tax on purchases made with a manufacturer's rebate".

AB453-AA2,1,4 2. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

AB453-AA2,1,5 " Section 1c. 77.51 (4) (b) 1. of the statutes is amended to read:

AB453-AA2,1,8 77.51 (4) (b) 1. Cash or term discounts; or amounts paid by the manufacturer of the item sold that reduce the amount paid to the retailer of the item at the time of sale; allowed and taken on sales.".

AB453-AA2,1,9 3. Page 2, line 1: delete " 1" and substitute "1d".

AB453-AA2,1,10 4. Page 2, line 6: after that line insert:

AB453-AA2,1,11 " Section 1m. 77.51 (15) (b) 1. of the statutes is amended to read:

AB453-AA2,2,3 77.51 (15) (b) 1. Cash discounts; or amounts paid by the manufacturer of the item sold that reduce the amount paid to the retailer of the item at the time of sale; allowed and taken on sales.".
