AB644-ASA1,1,2 1An Act to create 23.0917 (4) (cm) 4. and 23.197 (5m) of the statutes; relating
2to:
funding for the reconstruction of the Atlas Mill in the city of Appleton.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB644-ASA1, s. 1 3Section 1. 23.0917 (4) (cm) 4. of the statutes is created to read:
AB644-ASA1,1,54 23.0917 (4) (cm) 4. Reconstruction of the facility known as the Atlas Mill
5located in the city of Appleton under s. 23.197 (5m).
AB644-ASA1, s. 2 6Section 2. 23.197 (5m) of the statutes is created to read:
AB644-ASA1,2,37 23.197 (5m) Atlas Mill reconstruction. From the appropriation under s.
820.866 (2) (ta), the department shall provide $250,000 to an organization known as
9the Paper International Hall of Fame, Inc., to reconstruct the facility known as the
10Atlas Mill, located in the city of Appleton, into a facility containing a hands-on
11forestry project designed principally to educate children about the relationship
12between forestry and education. The facility shall be known as the "World Paper

1Center." For the purposes of s. 23.0917, moneys provided under this subsection from
2the appropriation under s. 20.866 (2) (ta) shall be treated as moneys obligated under
3the subprogram for property development and local assistance.
