AB865-AA2,1,7 (1) Notwithstanding section 59.17 (1) of the statutes, as affected by this act, no referendum for the purpose of abolishing the office of county executive in counties with a population of at least 500,000 may be held after November 30, 2003, or before April 7, 2004.".
