Whereas, the Girl Scouts, Brownies, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Future Farmers
5of America, Future Business Leaders of America, 4-H, Civil Air Patrol, Boys and
6Girls Club, National Honor Society, Students Against Drunk Driving, YMCA and
7YWCA, are organizations dedicated to training youth in responsible citizenship,
8personal development, and character guidance, in an effort to instill their duty to
9God and Country; and

Whereas, these organizations represent a diverse group of individuals and
11families throughout Wisconsin and the United States, with millions of loyal
12American members; and

2promise through millions of community service hours completing projects of
3importance to all citizens; and

14Resolved, That the members of the Wisconsin legislature encourage all
15citizens and organizations in this state to recognize the importance of these groups
16and their diversity and to maintain their support for these organizations and the
17positive impact that they have on our cherished nation; and, be it further
