AR3-AA3,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the resolution as follows:
AR3-AA3,1,2 21. Page 62, line 17: after that line insert:
AR3-AA3,1,3 3" Section 96b. Assembly rule 98d is created to read:
AR3-AA3,1,6 4Assembly Rule 98d. Campaign contributions. (1) In this rule,
5"contribution," "legislative campaign committee," and "personal campaign
6committee" have the meanings given for the terms in section 11.01 of the statutes.
AR3-AA3,2,27 (2) A legislative leader may not schedule, hold, or attend, or solicit, make, or
8receive a contribution for or at; or authorize a legislative campaign committee to
9schedule, hold, or attend, or solicit, make, or receive a contribution for or at; and a
10member may not schedule, hold, or attend, or solicit, make, or receive a contribution
11for or at; or authorize the member's personal campaign committee to schedule, hold,
12or attend, or solicit, make, or receive a contribution for or at; a fund-raising social

1event or otherwise between January 1 of each odd-numbered year and June 1 of the
2next even-numbered year.
AR3-AA3,2,63 (3) Subsection (2) does not apply to a fund-raising social event of a legislative
4campaign committee held during the period between the first day authorized for
5filing nomination papers for any special election to the assembly and the date of the
6special election.
AR3-AA3,2,127 (4) Subsection (2) does not apply to a fund-raising social event of a current
8member of the assembly or his or her personal campaign committee held during the
9period between the first day authorized for filing nomination papers for any office for
10which a current member of the assembly is a candidate and the date of the election
11for that office, if the event is held within the boundaries of the jurisdiction or district
12served by the office for which the current member of the assembly is a candidate.
AR3-AA3,2,1713 (5) Subsection (2) does not apply to a fund-raising social event of a current
14member of the assembly or his or her personal campaign committee held during the
15period between the first day authorized for filing nomination papers for any office,
16other than representative to the assembly, for which a current member of the
17assembly is a candidate and the date of the election for that other office.".
