ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 7, TO 2001 ASSEMBLY RESOLUTION 3

AR3-AA7,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the resolution as follows:

AR3-AA7,1,2 1. Page 62, line 17: after that line insert:

AR3-AA7,1,3 " Section 96d. Assembly rule 98h is created to read:

AR3-AA7,1,4 Assembly Rule 98h. Campaign contributions. (1) In this rule:

AR3-AA7,1,6 (a) "Campaign depository account" means a campaign depository account required by section 11.10 of the statutes.

AR3-AA7,1,8 (b) "Contribution," "legislative campaign committee," and "personal campaign committee" have the meanings given for the terms in section 11.01 of the statutes.

AR3-AA7,1,13 (2) A legislative leader may not deposit in a campaign depository account or authorize a legislative campaign committee to deposit in a campaign depository account; and a member may not deposit in a campaign depository account or authorize the member's personal campaign committee to deposit in a campaign depository account; an amount that is greater than the sum of the following:

AR3-AA7,2,1 (a) The disbursements from the account; and

AR3-AA7,2,3 (b) An amount equal to the campaign disbursement level for candidates for representative to the assembly under section 11.31 of the statutes.".
