ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 9, TO 2001 ASSEMBLY RESOLUTION 3

AR3-AA9,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the resolution as follows:

AR3-AA9,1,2 1. Page 12, line 15: after "determine" insert ", subject to rule 14,".

AR3-AA9,1,3 2. Page 13, line 23: after that line insert:

AR3-AA9,1,4 " Section 15m. Assembly rule 14 (1) is amended to read:

AR3-AA9,1,9 Assembly Rule 14 (1) Any proposal referred to a committee, and any other business relevant to its title, may at the discretion of the chairperson be scheduled for shall be given a public hearing within 60 days after it is referred or rereferred to the committee. Any other business relevant to the title of the committee may, at the discretion of the chairperson, be scheduled for a public hearing.".

AR3-AA9,1,10 3. Page 14, line 9: after "until" insert "7 working days after".

AR3-AA9,1,12 4. Page 53, line 25: after the period insert "A hearing before a committee is not required.".
