SB104-SSA1-SA8,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:
SB104-SSA1-SA8,1,3 21. Page 7, line 22: delete ""Independent" and substitute "Except as provided
3in s. 11.25 (1m) (a), "independent".
SB104-SSA1-SA8,1,4 42. Page 32, line 17: after that line insert:
SB104-SSA1-SA8,1,5 5" Section 67m. 11.25 (1m) of the statutes is created to read:
SB104-SSA1-SA8,2,26 11.25 (1m) (a) In this subsection, "independent expenditure" means an
7expenditure made for the purpose of making a communication that is made during
8the 30-day period preceding any primary or other election; that contains the name
9or likeness of a clearly identified candidate at that election; that is made without
10cooperation or consultation with such a candidate, or any authorized committee or
11agent of such a candidate; and that is not made in concert with, or at the request or

1suggestion of, such a candidate, or any authorized committee or agent of such a
2candidate.
SB104-SSA1-SA8,2,33 (b) No person, committee, or group may make any independent expenditure.
SB104-SSA1-SA8,2,74 (c) No committee or individual who is required to file a statement under s. 11.06
5(7) may make any disbursement during the 30-day period preceding a primary or
6other election which is to be used to advocate the election or defeat of a clearly
7identified candidate at that primary or election.".
