SB120-SSA1,1,3 1An Act to create 121.91 (4) (i) of the statutes; relating to: increasing a school
2district's revenue limit by the amount spent for school safety and security
3measures and granting rule-making authority.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB120-SSA1, s. 1 4Section 1. 121.91 (4) (i) of the statutes is created to read:
SB120-SSA1,1,125 121.91 (4) (i) The limit otherwise applicable to a school district's revenue under
6sub. (2m) in any school year is increased by an amount equal to the amount spent by
7the school district in that school year for safety measures designed to protect pupils
8and staff and for security measures designed to prevent criminal activity in schools,
9as determined by the state superintendent, but not more than an amount equal to
10$100 multiplied by the number of pupils enrolled. The state superintendent shall
11promulgate rules specifying the safety and security measures that are eligible for a
12revenue limit adjustment under this paragraph.

1Section 2. Initial applicability.
SB120-SSA1,2,32 (1) This act first applies to the calculation of a school district's revenue limit
3for the school year beginning after the effective date of this subsection.
