SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2001 SENATE BILL 254

SB254-SSA1,1,3 An Act to repeal 121.90 (1) (a) to (dr); and to amend 121.90 (1) (intro.) of the statutes; relating to: counting summer school enrollment for revenue limit purposes.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

SB254-SSA1, s. 1 Section 1. 121.90 (1) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:

SB254-SSA1,1,9 121.90 (1) (intro.) "Number of pupils enrolled" means the number of pupils enrolled on the 3rd Friday of September and the summer enrollment, including pupils identified in s. 121.05 (1) (a) 1. to 11., except that "number of pupils enrolled" excludes the number of pupils attending public school under s. 118.145 (4) and except as follows:

SB254-SSA1, s. 2 Section 2. 121.90 (1) (a) to (dr) of the statutes are repealed.

SB254-SSA1, s. 3 Section 3. Initial applicability.

SB254-SSA1,2,2 (1) This act first applies to the calculation of a school district's revenue limit for the school year beginning after the effective date of this subsection.
