SB307-SA10,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB307-SA10,1,2 1. Page 103, line 7: after that line insert:

SB307-SA10,1,8 "(2m) Warning notice. (a) For a violation of a provision of this chapter, if the alleged violator has not previously received a warning notice for a violation of the same provision, a warning notice in lieu of a citation or complaint and summons shall be issued. If the warning notice requires the alleged violator to remedy the effects of the alleged violation, the warning notice shall specify the remedial action to be taken and the date before which the remedial action must be completed.

SB307-SA10,1,11 (b) If a warning notice has been issued to an alleged violator under par. (a) and the alleged violator fails to comply with the warning notice, a citation or complaint and summons shall be issued for the violation.

SB307-SA10,2,2 (c) The department shall record the issuances of warning notices for purposes of this subsection.".
