SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2001 SENATE BILL 413

SB413-SSA1-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB413-SSA1-SA1,1,2 1. Page 4, line 11: delete "July" and substitute "March".

SB413-SSA1-SA1,1,3 2. Page 4, line 12: delete "even-numbered" and substitute "odd-numbered".

SB413-SSA1-SA1,1,5 3. Page 7, line 20: delete the material beginning with "The rules" and ending with the period on line 22.

SB413-SSA1-SA1,1,7 4. Page 10, line 24: delete the material beginning with the comma and ending with the comma on line 25.

SB413-SSA1-SA1,1,8 5. Page 11, line 8: delete lines 8 to 16.

SB413-SSA1-SA1,1,10 6. Page 11, line 23: delete "shall promulgate" and substitute "may promulgate".

SB413-SSA1-SA1,2,12 "(4x) Transitional provisions; registrants. Notwithstanding section 460.05 (1) of the statutes, as created by this act, the department shall issue a certificate as a massage therapist or bodyworker to a person who holds a valid license of registration as a massage therapist or bodyworker issued by the department under section 440.983, 1999 stats., or 1997 Wisconsin Act 156, section 16 (1) (a), and who applies to renew such a license of registration that expires on March 1, 2003, under section 440.08 (2) (a) 67q., 1999 stats., if the person satisfies the requirements under section 440.985, 1999 stats.".

SB413-SSA1-SA1,2,15 (1x) This act takes effect on March 1, 2003.".
