SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2001 SENATE BILL 436

SB436-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB436-SA1,1,2 1. Page 4, line 3: delete lines 3 to 10 and substitute:

SB436-SA1,1,3 " Section 1g. 138.09 (7) (L) of the statutes is created to read:

SB436-SA1,1,5 138.09 (7) (L) All loans made by licensees that constitute pawnbroking, as defined in s. 138.10 (1) (b), shall be governed by this section, except as follows:

SB436-SA1,1,7 1. Section 138.10 (4) and (5) shall govern the charging and calculation of interest on such loans.

SB436-SA1,1,10 2. To the extent that this section is otherwise inconsistent with s. 138.10, and to the extent that s. 138.10 contains provisions governing matters that are not governed by this section, s. 138.10 shall govern.

SB436-SA1, s. 1r Section 1r. 138.09 (13) of the statutes is created to read:

SB436-SA1,1,13 138.09 (13) The division may promulgate rules and issue orders to administer and enforce this section.".
