SB55-ASA1-AA14,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB55-ASA1-AA14,1,2 1. Page 1068, line 2: after that line insert:

SB55-ASA1-AA14,1,3 " Section 3325d. 293.15 (9) of the statutes is repealed.

SB55-ASA1-AA14, s. 3325h Section 3325h. 293.17 of the statutes is created to read:

SB55-ASA1-AA14,1,7 293.17 Limitations on department powers. (1) The department may not grant an exemption, modification, or variance that makes less restrictive a requirement in a rule promulgated under this chapter.

SB55-ASA1-AA14,1,11 (2) The department may not grant an exemption, modification, or variance that makes less restrictive a requirement in a rule promulgated under ch. 289 or 291 as the requirement relates to the storage or disposal of solid waste from mining or prospecting.".
