AB1-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB1-SA1,1,2 21. Page 3, line 15: delete ", (4g) and (4r)".
AB1-SA1,1,3 32. Page 3, line 16: delete "are" and substitute "is".
AB1-SA1,1,4 43. Page 3, line 18: after that line insert:
AB1-SA1,1,5 5" Section 2e. 19.42 (3s) of the statutes is created to read:
AB1-SA1,1,126 19.42 (3s) "Candidate for local public office" means any individual who files
7nomination papers and a declaration of candidacy under s. 8.21 or who is nominated
8at a caucus under s. 8.05 (1) for the purpose of appearing on the ballot for election
9as a local public official or any individual who is nominated for the purpose of
10appearing on the ballot for election as a local public official through the write-in
11process or by appointment to fill a vacancy in nomination and who files a declaration
12of candidacy under s. 8.21.

1Section 2m. 19.42 (4g) and (4r) of the statutes, as created by 2001 Wisconsin

, are repealed and recreated to read:
