AB111-AA9,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB111-AA9,1,3 1. Page 14, line 20: delete ". The" and substitute "Except as provided in s. 6.87 (4) (b) 2., the".

AB111-AA9,1,4 2. Page 16, line 13: after "(b)" insert "1.".

AB111-AA9,1,5 3. Page 16, line 15: after "(b)" insert "1.".

AB111-AA9,1,7 4. Page 16, line 23: delete ". The" and substitute ". Except as authorized in subds. 2. and 3., the".

AB111-AA9,1,8 5. Page 17, line 8: after that line insert:

AB111-AA9,1,9 " Section 36m. 6.87 (4) (b) 2. and 3. of the statutes are created to read:

AB111-AA9,2,3 6.87 (4) (b) 2. Unless subd. 3. applies, if the absentee elector has applied for and qualified to receive absentee ballots automatically under s. 6.86 (2) (a), the elector may, in lieu of providing a copy of the identification required under s. 6.86 (1) (ar), submit with his or her absentee ballot a statement signed by the same individual who witnesses voting of the ballot which contains the name and address of the elector and verifies that the name and address are correct.

AB111-AA9,2,8 3. If the absentee elector has received an absentee ballot from the municipal clerk for a previous election, has provided a copy of the identification required under s. 6.86 (1) (ar) with that ballot, and has not changed his or her name or address since providing that identification, the elector is not required to provide a copy of the identification required under s. 6.86 (1) (ar).".
