This substitute amendment requires a person who operates a fair, junior show,
or livestock exhibition at which drug testing of animals is conducted to charge a
drug-testing fee to each exhibitor of an animal that is entered in a market class and
that is a kind of animal that is subject to drug testing. The fee may not exceed $5 for
each animal exhibited.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB156-ASA1, s. 1 3Section 1. 93.25 of the statutes is created to read:
AB156-ASA1,2,4 493.25 Fees for drug testing of livestock. Any person who operates a fair,
5junior show, or livestock exhibition at which market animals are exhibited and at
6which the person tests animals for drugs, or requires that testing, shall charge a
7drug-testing fee to each exhibitor of an animal that is entered in a market class and

1that is a kind of animal that is subject to drug testing. The fee under this section is
2in addition to any entry fee and may not exceed $5 for each animal exhibited. The
3revenue received from fees paid under this section may be used only for drug testing
4of animals.
