AB197-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB197-AA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 9: after that line insert:

AB197-AA1,1,3 " Section 4m. 169.20 (4) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB197-AA1,1,10 169.20 (4) Rules. The department may promulgate rules to establish additional standards, limitations, and requirements for licenses issued under this section. The rules may include standards that provide adequate protection for the wild animals that are authorized under a dog training license. The department shall issue a license to an applicant based on the rules in effect under this subsection on the date of the application and may not delay the issuance of a license pending promulgation of additional, modified, or new rules.".
